We sell and distribute pork within the continental US and Canada. Our pigs are born and fed on our Montana farms with lots of personal care. Cleanliness and orderliness are two of our virtues. There is absolutely no artificial insemination or hormones and no feed additives are used. We feed our pigs with non-GMO (Genetically Modified Organism) barley and wheat only and not with corn. We practice a “farm to fork” HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) food safety program which is verified by a licensed veterinarian. None of our pigs leave the farm until they are ready to be shipped in California for humane slaughter under the supervision of the USDA. Our pork is exceptionally and freshly processed in Montana.

We welcome you to contact us with any of your questions and comments about our pork and or our operations. We are more than happy to discuss with you our competitive pricing and answer any of your inquiries by clicking the “contact us” button below.

We take pride in our pork. We produce a truly natural, healthy, small farm happy pig. You can rest assured that you get the best and the highest quality of pork when you purchase the Hutterite pork!

ABOUT US.....
So who are the Hutterites?

Hutterites are German-speaking farmers that emigrated from Europe to the Dakotas and Montana in the 1880’s. For over one and a third centuries, we have maintained our traditional sustainable agriculture practices. We live and work semi-collectively raising and manufacturing most of all our products on our family style farms. We do not employ outside employees.

The Hutterites are similar to the Mennonites and Amish. We are pacifists in our attitude towards war and live a very simple lifestyle. Sunday is our day of worship. We speak both English and German and are very frugal. If our crops are poor due to the drought or even the market’s low price, we do not get a job off the farm in town. Instead, we live more of a meager life and make it to the next year when hopefully the crops will be better.

Hutterite farms consist of 10 to 20 families living in separate
residences, eating and working together. Hutterite children
learn to enjoy work early in life. If one visits a Hutterite Colony
in the evening, one would notice the young children are
helping their parents with chores sewing clothing, building
farm wagons or making soap.

On the farm, each Hutterite specializes in a specific crop thus
we become very knowledgeable with the product we produce
or manufacture. We often purchase old second hand
equipment and repair it for our own use.

Each Montana Hutterites’ farm has 300 to 400 sows. We produce most of the feed on our farms and sell our pork products mostly to California. Because we live in an isolated area, we have very few disease problems in our pigs and produce a truly, natural, small farm happy pig. We also produce chickens, eggs, milk, beef, lamb and produce in a family-farm style just like the earlier settlers did.
